Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum plus car allowance, bonus and Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

We have a position in our team for a Performance & Data Analyst.

As a Performance & Data Analyst, you will support water operational contracts to ensure compliance with environmental standards and drive continual improvement in carbon reduction and process performance. This will be achieved by a detailed understanding and analysis of technical data and the provision of engaging information through business information tools.

What you'll be doing;

Creation and maintenance of data acquisition tools and databases.

Design and build of automated reporting and dashboards on business information tools.

Monitor, analyse & interpret technical/ process performance data to drive continual improvement, highlight/ understand risk areas & identify future trends.

Turn technical/ process performance data into information to inform/ drive business decisions.

Ensure performance data quality is maintained, highlight deficiencies and support correction.

Benchmark performance of sites utilising standards and best practices & report/ take action on findings.

Inform & facilitate understanding of sites' process performance and improvement opportunities.

Work with O&M teams to respond to data queries, prioritise information & business needs related to technical performance & tracking of identified performance improvement opportunities.

Prepare and track technical performance indicators and achievement of related targets.

Presentation of analysis/ project outputs i.e. reports/ presentations to suit the audience and make recommendations.

Lead compliance with environmental standards (eg. CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme) & reporting requirements for environmental credits (e.g. Renewables Obligation).

Ensure business understanding of energy billing & maintain overview.

Support preparation of energy budgets and tracking of annual performance against these.

Active participation within Global Technical & Performance platform & facilitate operational business input.

Provide cover when required to support the overall Water Technical team.

What we're looking for;

Essential:

Degree in a STEM discipline

Proficient in advanced Excel/ Google Sheets functions

Programming experience (eg.SQL or Javascript/VBA/Python/R)

Experience working with technical performance data/ large and complex datasets

Attention to detail & accuracy

Problem solving
Desirable:

Good wastewater treatment knowledge

Experience with stakeholder management

Experience of Power BI, Tableau, eSight or other data visualisation tools .
