What you’ll bedoing:
- Working on high technologyproducts such as Tempest you will be advancing the capability ofair platforms by:
- Developing model representations ofsystems and platforms. This includes requirement, functional, plantand control models that represent those systems within a digitaltwin of the platform
- Collaborating with a community ofengineers to understand the relationships between interfacingsystems/platforms
- Developing strategies to use modellingto optimise verification, validation, demonstrations and trialactivity
Undertaking model verification activityusing real world data (in service andtrials)Identifying solutions and options thatdeliver at a platform (sometimes a multi-platform)levelGuiding and influencing a diverse andhighly skilled community of specialist engineers and teamleaders
Your skills andexperiences:
- Degree educated in a STEMdiscipline or HND/HNC with equivalentexperience
Systems Engineering, SoftwareEngineering or Electrical EngineeringexperienceKnowledge of aircraft and their systemsoperation and key performanceparametersAbility to analyse system and aircraftperformanceIdeally experienced with logical andmathematical based engineering tools (e.g. SysML, Matlab/Simulink,Cameo SystemModeller)Understanding of Model Base SystemEngineering principles andtoolsets
