What You’ll Be Doing as a Machine Learning Full Stack Engineer Contractor (Python / Flutter / GCP) | UK/EU, Remote | Rate £500-650pd | Outside IR35 | 6-months Contract Length:

Designing and training new models from scratch for unique, real-world use cases
Taking a hands-on, theoretical approach to ML—beyond just implementation
Building and scaling backend infrastructure and APIs (Python, GCP, etc.)
Working closely with the CEO and founding engineers to iterate rapidly on product
Helping drive the integration of ML into a Flutter-based product environment

Opportunity:

Strong theoretical grounding in ML, with proven experience training models from scratch
Full stack capabilities, ideally with backend experience in

Python

and frontend knowledge of

Flutter
Experience deploying ML models into production environments (ideally GCP)
Start-up mindset: you move fast, take ownership, and thrive in ambiguity
A sharp communicator who works well in lean, ambitious, high-trust teams
