SeniorData Architect

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the creation of a comprehensive data strategy across both Front and Back Office operations. This role involves documenting and understanding the current data architecture, designing a future state, and developing a roadmap to achieve it. The strategy will encompass data governance, categorisation, tooling, and data platforms.

Responsibilities

Document and categorise the firm's enterprise data. Design and implement a data strategy, including governance frameworks. Develop an enterprise data platform. Mentor and guide the team with data architecture expertise. Contribute to the department's cloud strategy.

Essential Skills

Extensive experience as a data architect. Proven experience in migrating and building enterprise data platforms on AWS. Background in data development or engineering. Proficiency in SQL. Understanding of the full trade lifecycle. Self-starter with a strong drive to complete initiatives. Excellent problem-solving skills and keen intelligence. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or similar. Experience with data management, AWS, Power BI, SQL
