What You'll Do:
As a Lead Applied AI Engineer, you will:

Spearhead AI projects that enhance public service experiences.
Write and review code daily to maintain high-quality standards.
Guide your technical team in delivering impactful solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet real user needs.
Establish frameworks for responsible AI development and deployment.
Promote best practises in applied AI throughout government initiatives.
Stay abreast of the latest AI trends and technologies.

Who You Are:
We're looking for someone with:

Proficiency in Python and strong software engineering skills.
Experience in deploying and monitoring production-ready systems in the cloud.
Knowledge of Large Language Models, natural language processing, and deep learning.
A passion for creating AI products that enhance human capabilities.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Bonus Points:
Experience with containerisation (Docker), AI agents, or mentoring technical teams is a plus!
