Job Description

The Junior Data Analyst (Finance) - HYBRID

Support the production of reporting of current/historical activity and all month-end and post-month end financial activities. Providing a range of product level analysis to support discrepancies and support decision making. Develop strong relationships with key internal and external personnel, including procurement, category sourcing and Finance teams. Tracking and reporting supplier/manufacturer data & rebates Understanding available data sources and how these integrate with each other. Ability to understand/model complex commercial rebate & pricing structures - summarising findings for varying audiences (Finance, Account Management, Suppliers & Clients) Understanding the business commercial model & how our procurement deals integrate with it. Monitoring & auditing own workings / outputs for accuracy and relevance

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Data Analyst (Finance) - HYBRID should have the following skills & experience:Essential:

Strong/intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail, problem solving, initiative and reconciliations. High numeric and analytical skills and diligence Comfortable developing and working with complex spreadsheets. Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically. Ability to analyse, evaluate and present information concisely. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

Good organisational skills Confidence to make informed decisions. Experience working in databases, managing manual data feeds, and developing in Sql is advantageous.Exposure to systems such as SQL (Access) & SAP

NOTE - Graduates with a numerical degree, and some form of office based work experience, will also be considered.
