Consultant* Data Analyst - "Open Data"

Your tasks

  • Implementing, organizing and optimizing the DFS "Open Data" strategy and architecture
  • Analyzing and preparing open data for further use and exploitation in accordance with legal requirements such as the E-Government Act (EGovG)
  • Implementing a long-term storage and archiving concept for geodata
  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of geodata sets
  • Integrating and providing geodata in internal and external systems
  • Ensuring the documentation and transparency of data processes

What sets you apart

  • Successfully completed studies in e.g. information technology, geosciences or a comparable course of study and ideally several years of professional experience in these areas
  • In-depth knowledge of databases and models (e.g. PostgreSQL, PostGIS) and programming skills
  • Experience in analyzing and processing geodata with GIS tools and technologies such as QGIS
  • Sound knowledge in the areas of data management, data visualization and data security
  • Knowledge of data and service modeling in the context of tool-supported data and information management
