Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 WorldChampionship from 2026. The new team has two locations. AudisMotorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered oneof the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Groups Formula1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovativetechnologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit comes fromNeuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of thechassis and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG turnstwo teams into a factory team – and you can be part of it. What youneed? The mindset of an athlete. Becomepart of this unique project and make motorsport history. Theposition for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil(Switzerland). Your mission 1. Lead the team responsible for thedevelopment, operation and maintenance of driver-in-loop simulatorsas an integral part of the DIL simulator group. 2. Plan and executedevelopment projects to improve and enhance the fidelity, realism,functionality and performance of the simulator. 3. Drive the designand development of motion cueing and other driver feedback systems.4. Develop and manage simulator peripheral systems, e.g. audio andvisual systems, cockpit environments, motion cueing, data analysistools. 5. Contribute to and drive tool and methodology developmentto ensure alignment with other simulation models and tools. 6. Workwith colleague engineering teams to prepare and perform experimentsand tests in the simulator, including model development and systemintegration. 7. Support simulator test sessions (including racesupport activities) as required. 8. Support collaborativeactivities in the wider Simulator and Vehicle Performance teams.Your profile 1. High quality degree (Master or PhD) in a relevantscientific discipline (Mechanical Engineering, AutomotiveEngineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Physics,Mathematics). 2. Previous management or team leadership experienceis an advantage. 3. Extensive experience in the field of simulatorengineering (emphasis on simulator development) with relevantexperience in F1 or another high-level motorsport an advantage. 4.Proven expertise in simulation, including real-time applications& ideally in automotive and/or motorsport domains. 5.Experience in system modelling with expert level competence inseveral of the following tools: MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C++, C#.6. Highly self-motivated and results-oriented. 7. Able to motivateand guide a team. 8. High attention to detail, pragmatic but with ascientific approach. 9. Full professional proficiency in German orEnglish and a willingness to learn a basic level in thecorresponding other language are prerequisites.J-18808-Ljbffr
