Business Intelligence Developer (f/m/d) Full-time, starting immediately in Coburg, permanent

We deal with the questions of tomorrow - for needs-based insurance for our more than 12 million customers - at our headquarters in Coburg in Upper Franconia and at our 38 branch offices in the office and in the field.

Tasks

  • Design and development of BI solutions, from requirements gathering to ETL development using state-of-the-art technologies
  • Advising the various specialist departments in day-to-day business and in projects
  • Definition of data supply routes (in real time or in batch) including the associated data modeling
  • Technical responsibility for ensuring the timely data management of BI solutions
  • Continuous improvement of the BI development process and application of appropriate process models (e.g. agile methods)
  • Teamwork in a motivated team and collaboration with many departments and projects

Profile

  • Degree in (business) informatics, mathematics, physics or a comparable course of study
  • Experience with relational databases incl. SQL
  • Practical experience in the implementation and design of DWH and BI solutions
  • Knowledge of tools (e.g. Datastage, Cognos) and development methods in the BI environment
  • Programming knowledge (e.g. Python or Java) desirable
  • Analytical skills and a structured way of working
  • Communication skills as well as persuasiveness and assertiveness
