Description IT Solution ArchitectProgramme: LCST(Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation)Location:BristolAre you ready for your next career challenge?.. RoleOverview:We are seeking several IT Solution Architects tojoin the Team in Bristol.As an IT Solution Architect, you willbe responsible for designing and delivering complex end to endsolutions using a multitude of applications and technologies withinthe supply chain management business domain.This role will assurethat the solution architecture can meet the key projectfunctional and non-functional requirements identified for theLCST programme. The IT Solution Architect will lead the solutiondevelopment through all phases of the delivery lifecycle, fromrequirements capture, high level design, low level design,development into the release and solution sustainment phases.Youwill provide support to the Head of Architect on a variety ofdesign decisions including:Solution evaluation: buy vs. build vsreusePlatform selectionEarly-phase project estimatesEnsuringcompliance with all design principles and architectureframeworksEnsuring compliance with technical, security, customerand regulatory standards. Supporting customer and stakeholdermeetings and technical discussions.Skills Required:Previousexperience as a Solution Architect on large complex customerprojects.Production of cross domain (Business, Application Data,Infrastructure, Security) end to end architecture deliverables,such as proposal designs, high level designs and interfacespecifications.Experience in bespoke and COTSapplicationsExperience in integration concepts and technologiese.g. SOA, ESBs, EAI, XML, Web Services, MQExperience working withlarge scale, distributed event driven architectures.Experience incloud with AWS or similarExperience in working collaborativelywithin a multi-supplier/vendor environment.Strong consulting,leading and mentoring skills along with the ability to effectivelycommunicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsBroadknowledge of and experience with a wide variety of applicationtechnologies, platforms, and tools including web-based systemsdatabases, middleware/integration technologies, security,and infrastructureExcellent written, verbal, and presentationcommunication skillsExcellent analytical and technicalskillsBachelor’s Degree in related field and/or extensive relatedexperienceSkills Desired:Experience in multi-stakeholder logistics/supply chain management solutions using modern commercial solutionssuch as:IntegrationPlatforms Manufacturing/Repairs systems,WarehouseManagement Systems,Transport Management Systems,Order ManagementSystem,Inventory Management SystemsEnterprise Resource PlanningSystemsProcurement SystemsData, Analytics and MI systemsExperiencein TOGAF/MODAF is desirableExperience in ArchimateExperienceworking in a CMMI level 3 environmentClearance Requirements:BPSSPre-screening required to startSC Required for roleLeidos UK!
