At CV-Library, we are on a mission to transform the recruitment landscape through innovative technology. We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team and take charge of designing robust software solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead architectural projects, mentor junior staff, and work closely with product teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the current technology landscape, tools and how they align to the business strategy (and any gaps that exist)
  • Work closely with both the business & product managers to understand the business context, value, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Responsible for developing emergent end-to-end designs, collaborating to ensure all areas of design are considered (infra, security, integration, data etc) and producing clear documentation
  • Ensuring all designs meet principles & standards and go through the CVL quality process
  • Contributing to development of design patterns, documented and stored centrally
  • Documenting key design decisions, options/recommendations
  • Driving the product selection process when new technology/tools are required, being able to articulate both commercial and technological advantages
  • Seen as an expert to provide ‘advice & guidance' for both business and technical stakeholders
  • Provide peer reviews and design assurance
  • Understands, documents, communicates and manages technical debt appropriately
    Requirements
  • Is an experienced Solution Architect previously delivering in a fast-paced environment that can think both strategically and tactically when required
  • Commercially aware and has the desire to understand our business and product capability as well as technology solutions
  • Has previous experience of designing large scale technology change, from backend ERP, CRM, defining integration & patterns, to front end web and mobile apps
  • Can demonstrate experience of producing complex high-level designs, managing SMEs and technology stakeholders
  • Has experience of cloud platform architecture (ideally AWS)
  • Has experience of event driven architecture (ideally Kafka)
  • Has delivered in both a waterfall and agile environment, understanding the differences
    Essential Skills
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Strong background in database technologies and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in software architecture.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
    Desirable Skills
  • Experience with reactive programming or event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and data analytics solutions.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or TOGAF.
