We are currently seeking an Internal Communications Manager, reporting directly to [reporting line position] to join our Communications team based in London.

About the mission we offer you: Internal Communications Manager

We are seeking an Internal Communications Manager to develop and implement communications plans and materials for the effective delivery of information and corporate communications at the UK level. You will be reporting to the UK Head of Communications and Public Affairs to measure and present results of communications efforts.

Responsibilities

Internal Communication Plan

  • To establish an internal communications strategy in collaboration with the Head of Communications and the Managing Director.
  • Develop an internal communication plan and engagement strategy, including objectives, audience, timeframe, tactics, and channels.
  • Customize and roll out Technip Energies corporate campaigns.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., People and Culture, HSES, IT, and Facilities teams) to proactively plan and deliver internal communication initiatives on time.
  • Propose and facilitate engagements to promote learning about the roles, responsibilities, and working practices of different teams (e.g., lunch and learn initiatives, technology day, etc.).
  • Manage the planning and delivery of both virtual and in-person all-staff events, town halls, and other local events.
  • Oversee Technip Energies local intranet and internal social media channels (Teams, Viva Engage), ensuring the brand is protected and maintained.



Content Creation

  • To create and manage engaging content in line with corporate guidelines for internal communications channels (intranet, email, in-person events, virtual events, etc.).
  • Promote communication guidelines for all employees.
  • Build feedback mechanisms into the internal communications strategy to facilitate staff feedback and evolve the strategy.
  • Provide clear and effective communication in response to crisis or emergency situations.
  • Work closely with creative teams to appropriately brand the offices.
    • Meet formally and informally with staff to stay informed of key events, news, and changes within the office.



Internal Network Management

  • Liaise regularly with Corporate Internal Communication and Technip Energies communication network to share best practices and key learnings.
  • Develop plans to increase the visibility of the operating Centre within the Technip Energies Group.



About you:

Wed love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

  • Experience in an internal communications role, ideally in-house, working with colleagues in multiple locations and across time zones, and for a medium/large organization.
  • Experience of writing for a variety of different audiences is also desired. General journalistic or marketing experience is beneficial.
  • Prior management of complex projects.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of internal audiences
  • Change management experience.
  • Understanding of various channels of internal communication in a hybrid environment, including managing an intranet.
  • Experience drafting and publishing written and audio-visual content


Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Professional Degree in marketing, communication or equivalent: journalism, communications, public relations or marketing is an advantage.
  • A professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or the Chartered Institute of Marketing or a Postgraduate qualification is also an advantage.

  • Organization Skills: Ability to proactively and effectively plan and manage work, respond to conflicting.
