Salary:£32,247 - £37,692

Location: Hybrid working, requirement to work from Headquarters in Northallerton 2 days per week, we also have offices across York & Harrogate.

We have a brand-new opportunity for twoHR Systems & Data Analysts. You’ll be the subject matter expert for our HR systems – Working closely with HR colleagues and key stakeholders you’ll ensure our systems are not only functioning at their best but are also delivering insightful, high-quality people data. You’ll help us spot trends, meet compliance obligations and support strategic decision-making with accurate, evidence-based reporting.

Key responsibilities;

  • Maintaining, developing and supporting the organisations HR Systems (Origin & Firewatch)
  • Responsible for the collation and production of a suite of monthly people services data, insights and analysis that impact on organisational performance for reporting to senior colleagues across police and fire.
  • Delivering training and support to HR and wider teams on system functionality
  • Supporting system upgrades and user testing.
  • Ensure regular evaluation of data quality and accuracy of information is held in HR systems and where appropriate reconciliation against other systems.
  • You will support continuous improvement through data and insights which will assist with system processes.
  • You will coordinate the completion of external returns, whilst ensuring statutory obligations are met.
  • You will contribute to projects related to HR digital transformation and process improvement.

What you will bring to the role;

  • Proven experience in HR systems administration and people data analysis
  • Strong technical knowledge with advanced excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data through tools such as Power BI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in clear, actionable ways
  • A problem solver with collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • You will have experience of test management for a range of technology and/or business changes and be able to analyse issues from both a technical and/or a business point of view
