The Opportunity

We are proud to be supporting The British Heart Foundation on a key hire. BHF has been dedicated to transforming heart and circulatory health. To support their mission, they need advanced systems, tools, and data insights. They have launched a Programme of work to drive this effort, with 4 workstreams in Retail, Finance, Customer, and Data Architecture & Reporting.

We are currently seeking a Retail-Savvy transformation professional with a data background to lead on a key element of the Retail workstream. As Head of Retail Transformation for Data Science and Reporting, you will work with the Retail Transformation Director, third-party providers, and internal experts to enhance BHF’s agility, efficiency, and customer focus. You’ll integrate and meet data and reporting needs, combining external insights with internal data. This will allow stores to make data-driven decisions which will ultimately enable them to increase sales, and ultimately donations which will save lives. This is not a technical role, but a strategic transformation role, therefore it suits someone who is looking for the opportunity to bring their data science and reporting expertise into a business transformation environment.

About You

A very strong retail background – ideally not just in data/technology but also in operations Proven experience leading complex change in a dynamic retail environment Background in data science with experience in Data Lake house architectures, connectors, and Power BI Strong strategic, analytical, leadership, and management skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities at all levels

Working Arrangements

This hybrid role splits time between home and the London office, with at least one day per week in the office.
