AI Search are delighted to be partnered with one of the seminal algorithmic trading firms globally, as they look to appoint aHead of Machine Learningto be based in Europe.

This is a firm with a deep-rooted commitment to research - already running proprietary compute cluster, extensive GPU infrastructure, and production-level trading strategies fully powered by Machine Learning. They are now entering a new phase, seeking an industry-leading figureoutsideof Quant Finance to redefine the frontiers of ML within their operation.

The ideal candidate will be academically recognised, deeply hands-on, and possess a proven track record of shipping truly novel ML products. A background in Finance isnotrequired - in fact, they are deliberately seeking someone with an orthogonal perspective to bring fresh thinking into the domain.

This person will unify a department already staffed with exceptional researchers from Academia and Big Tech (with backgrounds in areas such as LLMs and Causal Inference), and collaborate closely with a US-based counterpart recently hired.

The culture here is flat, highly collaborative and fundamentally driven by merit — and they are prepared to offer a substantial, unbounded compensation package that may include family relocation, sign-on bonuses and guaranteed structures for the right individual.

Further details, including firm name and compensation guide, will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
