We are recruiting for a Head of Data to join a small, successful IT consultancy who are experiencing exponential growth.

They specialise in providing the latest data and cloud technologies for a multitude of clients across the UK and Ireland, with plans to expand further including the US. You will be joining a company which is on an exciting journey, building their own data analytics platform for their clients.

Part of the role requires the ability to drive the end-to-end design, own implementation and get a SaaS product to market.

This opportunity will suit an established 'Head of' or Data professional looking to move into a more strategic role to help build out their Products and Solutions.

This role will be a member of the executive team, responsible for designing and implementing intelligent data solutions to meet business objectives and company strategy. You will work with a variety of stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet them. You will be responsible for developing their data strategy and supporting capabilities, including building out a high caliber team.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in a data leadership role
Experience in both Data Analytics AND Engineering
Ability to create and deploy innovative and scalable data solutions for clients
Strong technical expertise in data warehousing, statistical modelling, data mining, machine learning, and visualisation
Proficiency in data analytics languages such as SQL, Python, and R or similar
Experience with intelligent data stacks like AWS, MS Azure, GCP, Azure Databricks, and Apache Kafka.
Ability to work independently and manage multi-disciplinary remote teams

This is remote first role with travel to client site and their Birmingham office roughly 1 day per month.
