Graduate Data Analyst - Early Career Opportunity - Investment Management - Central London / Hybrid - £35k-£45k + bonus and benefits

We have an incredible opportunity for a Graduate Data Analyst, with a STEM based degree and 6months+ experience in data analysis and coding, to join a fantastic investment organisation based in stunning offices in Central London as their Data Analyst.

Joining a dynamic Investor Relations team, the Data Analyst will be responsible for assisting with data-related projects, ensuring the quality of the data is of the highest standards and fixing any issues that may arise, with support from external parties.

As you will be the main point of contact for issues and questions and the main provider of high-quality data exports, we’re looking for someone with strong knowledge and some working experience of data sets and coding (SQL is advantageous).

Hybrid working is offered with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.

Standard hours are 9am - 5pm.

Key responsibilities as the Data Analyst will include:

  • Being main point of contact for issues and queries relating to data integration

  • Undertaking high-quality data exports

  • Assisting teams with importing data and data related administration

  • Undertaking the role of Systems Administrator for portals

  • Support with projects to help improve processes and increase automation

  • Work on data cleaning projects

    And more.

    What we’re looking for:

  • Recent graduate (or similar) in a STEM related degree

  • Data management qualification is highly beneficial

  • c6 months+ work experience or internship as a Data Analyst (or similar)

  • Exposure, knowledge and understanding of working with large data sets

  • Experience of dealing with complex and sensitive client data (highly beneficial)

  • Experience of PowerBI /Tableau

  • Strong knowledge, understanding and experience of coding (SQL) and experience in Python, R or VB

  • Experience with FrontScript is advantageous

  • Good data manipulation / data control skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Confident communication skills (written and spoken) with the ability to liaise confidently and professionally at all levels

  • Strong IT literacy including MS Office (Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional attitude and appearance

  • Proactive and flexible team player
