Graduate AI Engineer - Contract

Location: North East of England

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Initial 3 - 6 Month Contract

CY Partners is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Contract Graduate AI Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate with a solid background in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning to join a dynamic team that specialise in innovative applications of artificial intelligence, with a focus on computer vision and automatic imagine analysis.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of computer vision algorithms and models.

Work with large datasets to train and optimise AI models for image recognition and analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.

Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and computer vision technologies.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure high-performance solutions.

Support the deployment and integration of AI models into software applications.

Role Requirements:

A recently obtained degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

Strong understanding of machine learning principles, particularly in computer vision techniques.

Experience with programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV.

Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and architectures (CNNs, RNNs, etc.).

Knowledge of data preprocessing, image augmentation, and feature extraction techniques.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
