Here at Mobilize Financial Services we are recruiting for a DBA (Database Administrator). We are looking for someone who has knowledge of Data Architecture and Data Modelling and a good understanding of how to manage and organise technical aspects of the organisations data; ensuring its quality and security and optimising it business functions .


This role requires technical skills and experience, proficiency in data management tools, understanding of data architectural processes and procedures. And a commitment to enforcing data governance and quality policies and standards.


What will you do:


  • Responsible for performance tuning, data integrity and security of databases
  • Responsible for data governance at a technical level
  • Supporting the Data Architect defining and structuring data and understand impacts on data landscape
  • Creating / maintaining technical data descriptions in Collibra, artifacts for data modeling, mapping data flows, and tracing data lineage within the systems
  • Develop and document technical specifications for data-related projects
  • Support data quality monitoring and remediation processes according to procedures and implement data quality indicators
  • Optimise data structures for performance and scalability
  • Ensure integration of data management solutions with existing infrastructure
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to align data management initiatives


What will you bring:


  • Demonstrable DBA experience within a commercial environment
  • Knowledge of Sybase ASE and MS SQL
  • Database Configuration and Performance Tuning experience
  • Data modelling (SAP Powerdesigner)
  • Extensive experience in Data Driven projects with large organisations
  • Extensive Agile & Scaled Agile experience
