The Role

You’ll be embedded in a high-performing data team focused on delivering predictive models, NLP solutions, and data products that drive business value in the insurance domain. Working end-to-end, you’ll lead modelling efforts from data wrangling to deployment, all while interfacing with clients and stakeholders in a technically rich environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models including classification, regression, and clustering
  • Work across the full model lifecycle: data prep, EDA, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and scaling
  • Build predictive and propensity models for underwriting and claims
  • Apply NLP and OCR for document classification and summarisation
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate data into action


What You’ll Bring

  • Strong hands-on data science and ML experience
  • Expert in Python and modern data science libraries
  • Experience with AWS SageMaker, Databricks, or similar cloud tools
  • Strong background in supervised/unsupervised learning, statistical modelling, and model deployment
  • Solid understanding of NLP techniques for document processing
  • Domain experience in insurance (e.g., underwriting, claims)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
