Ideal candidates will have strongcommercial experience, expertise in coding (Python, SQL), and apassion for driving innovation while collaborating across bothtechnical and non-technical teams. You'll have the autonomy toidentify new opportunities for growth and improvement, leveragingyour existing skills while also expanding your expertise acrossdiverse projects and technologies. What you'll be doing Develop andimplement machine learning products in the cloud that improveclient experiences and boosts colleague productivity in real-time.Continuously monitor, retrain, and optimise existing models toensure optimal performance. Partner with product teams to identifykey challenges and embed effective, data-driven solutions. Exposemodel outputs via robust and scalable APIs, enabling seamlessintegration with other platforms. Drive innovation through buildingGenerative AI solutions Play a pivotal role in advancing ourtechnical capability, ensuring data is used intelligently andeffectively. About you You have strong commercial experience indata, with a proven track record of solving complex problems anddelivering tangible results. Experience building and deployingmachine learning solutions in the cloud (AWS experience preferred).Strong proficiency in coding (Python) and SQL (Snowflake).Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building trustand fostering collaboration across teams while effectivelychallenging the status quo when necessary. A skilled communicator,capable of translating complex data insights into actionablenarratives tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.Highly autonomous with the ability to manage your workload andprioritise effectively. Proficient in using project managementtools such as Confluence/JIRA. Expertise in implementingstatistical techniques in production-grade code, with a focus onscalability and reliability. Experience with large-scale dataanalysis, manipulation, and distributed computing platforms (e.g.,Hive, Hadoop). Familiarity with advanced machine learning methods,including neural networks, reinforcement learning, and othercutting-edge Gen AI approaches. Skilled in API development anddeployment, with a focus on performance and scalability. Working Schedule We are looking for a DataScientist to join our team, based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL.This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday toFriday.
