Job Title: Data Quality Analyst

Location: Remote (with infrequent trips to London)

Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35)

Daily Rate: Up to £650 per day

Security Clearance: MOD SC Clearance required to start

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Analyst to work on an exciting project for a large government customer. You will play a key role in delivering both operational and strategic Data Quality (DQ) solutions, ensuring alignment with data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

As the Data Quality Analyst, you will work predominantly with Oracle Data Quality Tolle / Oracle EQM to manage the delivery of DQ work packages, collaborating closely with technical leads and architects. You will act as a subject matter expert on DQ best practices, producing reports and insights to drive improvements, and work alongside the Data Steward and Metadata Analyst in a collegiate and proactive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver operational and strategic DQ solutions.
Manage the DQ work package to meet agreed timelines.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and technical leads to ensure DQ deliverables align with policy, standards, and processes.
Provide expert advice on the implementation of good DQ practices.
Produce and present relevant reports and insights as required.
Work closely with Data Steward and Metadata Analyst to maintain and update DQTypical Activities:

Implement data quality improvement initiatives, identifying root causes and remedies.
Develop and maintain DQ guidelines and standards, aligned with data governance frameworks.
Build and manage DQ components, solutions, rules, and reports.
Assist in defining and managing DQ SLAs.
Provide input on scoping, designing, and delivering effective DQ solutions.Essential Candidate Profile:

Information Management Solutions Delivery: Experience in delivering data management solutions across multiple data holdings.
Highly skilled in Oracle Data Quality Management / Oracle EQM
Data Quality Expertise: Strong understanding of DQ tools and operations, with experience in handling data quality lifecycle in enterprise environments.
Enterprise-Level Experience: Previous work experience involving sensitive data within large organisations.
Customer Interaction: Proven ability to establish trust and collaboration with customers and stakeholders.
Data Quality Tools: Expertise in DQ software products such as Oracle EDQ.
Core Skills:
In-depth knowledge of DQ tools, including data profiling, analysis, and rule creation.
Experience with solution development lifecycles and working with IM technologies (e.g., ETL, databases).
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks and make judgement calls.
