What you will be doing:

As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining data solutions that support our business needs. From designing and implementing data platforms to ensuring data integrity and performance optimization, you will be at the forefront of driving our data-driven culture forward.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to expand their expertise in data engineering while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the organization\\\'s success.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Develop robust solutions for data engineering, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
  • Provide support for the scoping and delivery of BI capability to internal users
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address business requirements
  • Design and implement performance enhancements and application migration processes
  • Identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues when necessary
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data manipulation processes

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £45,000 - £50,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

Do you have the skills?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Previous experience in Data Engineering/ MI/ BI
  • Intermediate Level skillset in ETL development
  • Previous experience in a structured Change Management project lifecycle
  • Intermediate Level skillset in SSMS, T-SQL
  • Experience of using SSRS, SSIS would be advantageous
  • Working with both AGILE and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
