About The Role
We are hiring the first member of our data team. Your primary role will be to build and maintain a data warehouse that will power our pricing, BI and MI. In addition to this, you will be producing complex datasets and pipelines that will serve teams around the business.

You will be working closely with our new pricing team, in-house dev team, analysts, and team leaders to understand their needs, recommend, and then implement the best solutions.

This role would suit someone with a wide range of data development experience who enjoys variety and is looking to make their mark on a fast-growing business.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an ambitious and passionate person to join our data function at a key stage of our growth.
We are looking for someone who:
Can demonstrate a strong technical data skillset in regard to Python, Spark, Pandas, SQL, NoSQL.
Has strong experience working with modern database platforms such as Cosmos, Athena, and MySQL.
Is comfortable with both NoSQL and relational database design.
Able to use Airflow to a high skill level.
Enjoys working independently in a small team.
Has a good understanding of AWS and Azure architecture.
There is also an opportunity to get involved in ML projects, and experience in this area (and relevant platforms such as Sagemaker or Azure ML) is desirable but not essential for the role.
