Data Engineer - Fully Remote - £55k - £65k


I am working with a brand new client, a start-up data consultancy who are building out an exciting greenfield practice. With some fantastic customers being onboarded, my client are now looking for data engineers to join the team to develop their clients data capabilities for data science and AI readiness.

Role and Responsibilities


  • Design and deliver data pipelines using SQL, dbt, and Python within Snowflake to

transform and model data for a variety of use cases.

  • Build robust, testable, and maintainable code that integrates data from diverse

sources and formats.

  • Work closely with analyIcs, product, and client teams to turn data requirements into

scalable soluIons.

  • Support the development of data products including dashboards, APIs, and

predicIve models.

  • Enable automaIon and operaIonal efficiencies through data tooling and scripted

workflows.

  • Contribute to conInuous improvement of our internal standards, development

processes, and client delivery playbooks.

  • ParIcipate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospecIves with a lean agile delivery

mindset.


What do I need to apply?


  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or AnalyIcs Engineer delivering in client-facing

or consultancy environments.

  • Strong experIse in Snowflake (SQL, performance tuning, security, warehouse

design).

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience using dbt for data transformaIon and

modelling.

  • Proficiency in Python, especially for data manipulaIon, orchestraIon, and scripIng

workflows.

  • Solid understanding of version control (Git) and development lifecycle best

pracIces.

  • Experience integraIng with APIs, third-party systems, or event/log data streams.
  • Comfortable working across mulIple clients, managing Ime and prioriIes in a fastmoving

environment.
