iO Associates are delighted to be partnering with an exciting Software and Analytics scale up, who are looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing data team.

Focused on the IoT devices arena, this Tech-for-Good company allows the housing sector to provide technology to those that need it most, and creates a safer environment for all to live in.

You will be managing ClickHouse clusters to handle large-scale data storage,managing MySQL database performance, advising and implementing elegant data models, working with product managers and software engineers to bring customers more insight from the data.

You will also have the opportunity to introduce new software and technologies to the stack.

Experience required:

Must have experience of using Databricks. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Scripting and programming skills in languages like Python, Typescript. Experience conducting load testing. Experience building monitoring dashboards and developing system performance alarms. Strong SQL skills and understanding of database design principles.

Please note that you will be required to work onsite in their Bristol office on a weekly basis.
