This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, agile environment and contribute to projects that shape the future of our organisation.What you’ll be doing:Collaborating with data engineering leads and solution architects to deliver robust technical solutionsDeveloping and deploying GDPR-compliant data solutions that meet business needsFollowing agreed standards and release management processes to ensure quality and reduce riskWorking within an agile Scrum team to deliver timely and effective solutionsTranslating user stories into technical tasks using Jira, ensuring clarity and consistencyIdentifying and resolving issues and risks while driving continuous improvementEnsuring alignment with IT controls and attesting to them as part of the SDLCEmbedding fairness and value for customers across the application estateQualificationsWho we’re looking for:Holding a relevant degree or equivalent experience in data engineering or a related fieldDemonstrating strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT processesUnderstanding Snowflake Data Warehouse concepts and dbt core/macrosBringing experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridgeApplying basic data architecture principles and familiarity with data vault conceptsUsing Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and version control with GitHubGathering requirements and documenting complex data solutions effectivelyDelivering change within regulated environments with solid test and release management skillsWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
