I am currently looking for an experienced Data Engineer to play an instrumental role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure, ensuring the smooth flow of high-quality data to support analytics and reporting across the business.

Reporting to the CTO, you will be responsible for collecting and integrating data from a variety of sources, including a bespoke ERP system, the CRM, and the other platforms used.

Working closely with the Software Team, you will help design, build, and manage a robust data warehouse environment, including but not limited to: -

  • Designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines to extract, transform and load (ETL) data from diverse sources.

  • Developing and managing a centralised data warehouse, ensuring data is structured, accessible and optimised for analytics and reporting.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights through Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports.

  • Ensuring data quality, consistency and security across all systems and processes, implementing best practices for data governance and compliance.

  • Continuously evaluating and improving data infrastructure by leveraging new features in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.

    Ideally you will have: -

  • Commercial experience in data engineering, or a related technical role such as business intelligence

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, which will include writing queries / managing data structures.

  • Experience of building and maintaining ETL pipelines

  • Exposure to data integration from multiple systems, including ERP and CRM platforms, with a familiarity with Microsoft DevOps or similar for version control and task management.

    You will need to be highly proficient in programming languages like Python or SQL, have the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

    The company’s technology stack includes Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Ideally you will leverage these tools to deliver scalable, efficient, and insightful data solutions.
