Kennedys is looking for a Data Engineer to join its Transformation team.

The Data Engineer will ensure that data analysts and users receive the data they need at the right time, in the right format and to a high level of data quality. This is achieved through building solutions for integrating and consolidating data from different data sources and structuring this data that meet data analysts and data users reporting requirements.

Team

Kennedys Tranformation team is responsible for the delivery of projects across the global firm, working with all business services departments and all offices and legal teams.

They take projects from discovery through to benefits realisation, aligning with the Firm's strategic goals and offering expertise and experience to both Kennedys staff and clients

The team comprises project managers and business analysts, as well as a PMO function which drives project standards, practice and governance.

The Transformation team is based in London, Chelmsford and Manchester. 

Key responsibilities 

Review existing systems and pipelines Develop and deploy efficient and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Integrate and consolidate data from different source systems Deliver services that are automates, reliable and secure Recommend ways to improve data efficiency and data quality.

Required experience 

3+ years' experience as a data engineer, working with Azure 3+ years' experience using an Azure ETL tool (ADF) 3+ years' experience of using Azure (SQL Database, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB) Experience of Azure SQL/NoSQL, ADLS, Databricks, Data Factory Experience of creating and maintaining data warehouses to service Enterprise needs Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working under agile approaches Experience supporting the creation and design of user centric services Exposure to Data Reporting and Dashboarding solutions and best practice (Power BI)
