Are you smart, ambitious and passionate about managing and using data? Do you want to create scalable data platforms for some of the UK’s top brands? We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our team, who's excited about developing their expertise and skills in the field of data engineering. With a mix of home working and team collaboration in our vibrant, open plan office in Bristol, on any given day you could be doing one or all of these things: Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and interpret them into data models. Identify opportunities for data acquisition, data usage and insight generation. Create data reporting that enables data driven decision making. Build data systems and pipelines using development tools. Ensure that data solutions uphold data governance and/or data compliance frameworks. Provide second line technical support for existing data platforms. Requirements All our teams work to exacting standards, and so we're looking for a talented data engineer who has: Experience of database interrogation, querying and analysis tools. Can demonstrate a proven history of architecting, building, testing, and maintaining whole data platforms. Ability to model business problems into data structures within SQL Server. Experience with ETL concepts and tools such as Azure Data Factory. Understanding of Data Warehousing / Lakehouse concepts. Knowlegde of workflow tools such as Azure Logic App. Strong data visualisation skills and experience with tools such as Microsoft Fabric / Power BI. Great attention to detail and the ability to problem solve. Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Experience of the software engineering / development lifecycle.
