About the TeamThe Data Science team is a global, full-stack data team that plays an important role in empowering and driving the growth of TikTok Shop. Through impactful data insights and data products, the team focuses on areas such as metrics development, product, operation, algorithm improvement, data infrastructure, and data product development. The team enables informed decision-making and helps optimize the performance and effectiveness of TikTok Shop. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early.
Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period. Responsibilities:

  1. Support the construction and continuous optimization of data infrastructure and analytical frameworks within the creator ecosystem domain;
  2. Responsible for daily statistical analysis of creator-related business data, coordinating resources for tracking and in-depth analysis of abnormal situations;
  3. Assist analysts in Data Insight and in Qualitative/Quantitative Analysis to quickly locate internal problems or identify growth opportunities in the creator ecosystem.

    Minimum Qualifications:
  4. Actively enrolled university student;
  5. Bachelor’s degree or above; computer science, statistics, mathematics and other related majors preferred;
  6. Skilled in SQL, Python, and familiar with common data statistics and analysis methods. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Modeling capability, especially in measuring creator performance and ecosystem health;
  7. Strong logical thinking, business interpretation ability, and fast learning capacity;
  8. High sensitivity to numbers, with a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and passion for data analysis in the creator domain.
