Job Title: Data Analyst Administrator


Job Type: Permanent/Full Time (37.5hrs)


Location: On Site / Nelson BB9

Job Overview

As a part of the Data Analyst team you will be proactive in monitoring and reporting on fleet health and responding to client queries. Your insights will be crucial to enhancing understanding of network performance and potential limitations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and screen incoming level data using an appropriate data platform to derive actionable insights and conclusions. Training will be provided where necessary.
  • Identify trends and anomalies at both fleet and individual site level. Training will be provided where necessary.
  • Processing of install and maintenance visit information and validation of resultant data with a view to determine and report on visit success.
  • Regular housekeeping of database records and associated device settings.
  • Reporting on fleet statistics.
  • Facilitate metadata transfer to an appropriate data platform to ensure client has access to their level data.
  • Regular liaison with, and data provision to, project team including Data Analytics Centre, Project Management Office and Field Service departments.

Qualifications And Required Attributes

  • A BSc in a related field, i.e. Environmental Sciences, is preferred but not essential.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Naturally curious with a strong aptitude for investigating data, uncovering trends, and drawing conclusions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, telephone manner, the ability to work within a team and liaise with personnel at all levels within the business and with Clients.
  • Precision in data entry, cleaning, and reporting, with the ability to spot inconsistencies or errors in datasets.
  • Comfortable working within a team, receiving feedback, and collaborating to improve data processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies as needed in a fast‑evolving field.
  • High regard for data privacy, integrity, and accuracy, ensuring responsible handling of all information.
