Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role 3 days a week minimum, for a Data Analyst at WALT Labs in London Kings Cross. The Data Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as data analytics, data modeling, and utilizing statistical methods to drive business insights in Looker Studio and Looker Core. Effective communication skills will play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Analytical Skills, Data Analytics, and Data Modeling abilities
Proficiency in Statistics
Experience using Looker Studio at minimum
Strong Communication skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science)
Experience in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, etc)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and optimize datasets in BigQuery or other SQL databases for analysis and reporting.
Use SQL to query large datasets and uncover trends that support business decisions.
Design, build, and maintain Looker dashboards, including custom LookML models.
Optimize queries and visualizations for cost efficiency and performance improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and present actionable insights.
Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with governance policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and support Looker or SQL database-related issues.
Monitor and automate reporting for business-critical KPIs.
Stay updated on best practices and recommend process improvements for data analysis and visualization.
This role combines technical skills in SQL and Looker with strategic analysis to drive data-driven decisions.
