We are looking for a Data Analyst with Python and SQL skills to join our talented and innovative team.


This role sits within a part of the EMIS-X Analytics team responsible for taking large data sets from various sources and converting them into meaningful insights. Your main focus will be solving data engineering problems to allow healthcare personnel, NHS organisations and research organisation access to the analytical power of EMIS-X

What you’ll do

With this role you must make recommendations based on analysis and provide explanations to our internal and external customers


Other key responsibilities and accountabilities will include;

  • Collect and analyse large datasets to identify trends and patterns
  • Writing reusable and testable code
  • Work with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Work with external and internal customers
  • Make recommendations based your analysis
  • Write SQL queries to extract and transform data for analysis and reporting
  • Translate technical concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences, both verbally and in writing

Who you’ll be


You will have experience working as a Data Analyst using Python, SQL and you will be comfortable working in a team.

We want you to be able to have a growth mindset, take ownership and accountability for what you are doing and be keen to learn new skills.


Here, we are advocates for promoting the ability to think freely and creatively. We want you to have a curious nature, looking at improvements and efficiencies


Other key skills we are looking for you to demonstrate include;

  • SQL (MS SQL Server , MySQL etc)
  • Experience with data modelling and data warehousing concepts
  • AWS
  • Python (preferred)
