Are you ready to be at the forefront of innovation in the property and housing sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence and GIS Analyst to join our Strategic Asset Management Team at MTVH. This role is pivotal in supporting the continued innovation of our sector-leading Strategic Asset Management Plan.

At MTVH, we are leveraging data analytics, reporting, and visualisation to drive strategic decision-making across our property portfolio. This is your chance to be a central figure in pushing the boundaries further.

What you will be doing:

  • Working with our Strategic Asset Management and Data & Analytics Team on business intelligence initiatives, reporting, and trend analysis to support the delivery of the Strategic Asset Management Plan and the implementation of our new Investment Strategy.
  • Provide GIS mapping, including regular updates to established map layers and the development of new layers to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of report building, from the collation of requirements to the final delivery of the report.
  • Contribute to the management of datasets hosted on-premises or in cloud data repositories.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation and other regulatory requirements in all reporting produced.
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure effective and efficient working.
  • Actively develop skills and stay up to date with advances in reporting software functionality.

Personal Competencies:

  • Experience using SQL across various systems (SQL Server, Snowflake, MySQL, Oracle SQL, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI, including building reports in Power BI Desktop and managing them in Power BI service.
  • Proficiency in using, editing, and creating within the ArcGIS environment.
  • Ability to explain complex ideas and concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Creative thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain constructive working relationships.
  • Competency in using Microsoft products such as Excel and Word.
  • Experience in the Social Housing sector is a plus.
