A growing international media consultancy is looking to add a Data Analyst to help provide advertising campaign analyses for high-profile brands and help them set budgets and optimise their media spend.

Data Analyst - role

  • Collect, clean and verify media-spend data
  • Prepare data for analysis using standard database software.
  • Build databases and recommend analytical approaches to deliver added insights.
  • Using proprietary and bespoke tools, analyse media cost and quality performance
  • Prepare charts, tables and reports
  • Contribute to team discussions on findings and recommendations.
  • Work with team to develop interactive models to help clients set budgets
  • Analyse and forecast economic; consumer; media and market trends for selected countries around the world.


Data Analyst - requirements

  • Relevant degree with numeracy and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data
  • Advanced Excel with full proficiency in:
    • Table ranges
    • Filters
    • Complex formulas reading and writing (e.g. INDEX & MATCH, VLOOKUP, SUMIS etc)
    • Pivot tables (knowledge of DAX formulae desirable)
  • Some knowledge of Power Query and M Language helpful
  • Knowledge of programming (VBA, SQL or similar valuable)
  • Ability to manage, create and present PowerPoint reports
  • Willingness to work with high volumes of non-standard data.
  • Bright intellect, good communication skills; flexible in working time; a team player.
