We are seeking a Data Analyst to work in the Data Platforms team to support data-driven decision-making across the bank’s operations, with a focus on regulatory management, financial reporting, and customer insights.
The right candidate will demonstrate curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong drive to improve processes through data. You will be proactive, collaborative, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and a focus on aligning analytical outputs with business goals.
In this role, you will typically:
Collect and consolidate data using SQL across both on-premises and cloud-based data sources.
Develop various data quality and Critical Data Element metrics and controls.
Assist in ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across our data.
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and resolve technical challenges.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support key initiatives and answer critical business questions.
Problem solve with the tools and resources at hand.
The Person
Confident in SQL and Python for data analysis and transformation.
Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable.
Understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake, normalized and denormalized structures).
Experience working in Change Control or Agile methodologies.
Financial services or other regulated entity experience is desirable.
