Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a Business Data Analyst who has a real passion for data, analytics and insight, and is able to use data to improve the effectiveness of activity with the ability to interpret data quickly and accurately. With strong experience in reporting and creating dashboards, using tools such as Power BI and Excel, you will manage the reporting and analytics of all key accounts for Business Development Managers and Area Sales Managers to support the delivery of the strategic goals and commercial ambitions.

This position requires the Business Data Analyst to provide scheduled reporting and performance analysis which delivers actionable data-driven insight, understanding, conclusions and recommendations that support strategic decision making across the business.


  • Working Pattern: 27.5 hours per week, 09.00am to 15:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid: Monday and Tuesday in the office, Wednesday to Friday working from home
  • Location: Southam
  • Must have: Proven experience using Power BI and advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, XLOOKUP, Index Match, Power Query, VBA are a necessity.

About our role:

  • Create and develop dashboards and reporting suites, using reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Maintain existing agreed scheduled Reporting suites for both internal and external recipients.
  • Ensuring these are completed with accuracy and distributed promptly on a diarised basis.
  • Ad-hoc reporting will be requested from all members of the business divisions, along with internal stake holders and external key business contacts and partners.
  • Investigate improvements and developments to existing reporting suites and reporting processes. To include liaising, coordinating and understanding business requirements with cross functional teams.
  • Monitor business processes and recommend data‑driven improvements to enhance key performance indicators.
  • Support the Business Analytics and Reporting Manager in transforming data and market trends to informed strategic business decisions.
  • Support the Business Analytics and Reporting Manager on new projects that drive the business divisions to grow, innovate, and adapt in a rapidly evolving market.


The ideal candidate. Do you have:

  • Experience working in Analytics and Reporting
  • Background working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Hands on experience managing and analysing large data sets
  • Experience in Power BI, with a proven ability to deliver clear insightful dashboards and report
  • Microsoft Office Skills, including Excel Skills using advanced functions and formulas
