Role Overview:  

 
As a Business Analyst you will be analyzing e-commerce data and KPIs and will work with the E-commerce business managers to ensure that decisions are made and actioned with a data driven perspective. The ideal candidate would need to deliver insights in order to drive improvements into key areas of our online business and monitor the e-commerce metrics in order to transform business data into insightful actions. 

The candidate will also support the team with the ongoing budgeting process which involve planning, forecasting and reviewing the official topline. 

 

A successful candidate knows and loves working with business intelligence tools, is comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, and passionately partners with the e-commerce managers to identify strategic opportunities and deliver results. The candidate should have an inner propensity to answer “why?” questions, excellent analytical abilities, strong technical skills, as well as superior written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic and international environment. 

 

Requirements:  

 

The ideal candidate in her/his activity should find easy and quick to use insights to rapidly support the business decisions. 

The candidate main responsibilities will be all related to: 

  • reporting and analysing data on a daily/weekly basis, creating insightful reports for the team and for the e-commerce top-management (data coming from different sources and tools); 

  • performing ad hoc analyses and “data driven deep dives” on topics, issues and business questions to nurture the growth of the online business (sales); 

  • analysis and reporting for dedicated scheduled meetings with the top-management and finance team (budgeting, weekly business reviews, monthly business reviews); 

  • supporting the e-commerce managers in the budgeting and forecasting processes. 

  • teaming up with the e-commerce managers in the analysis of the e-commerce KPIs for the whole site funnel (traffic, UVs, CR, CTR, AOV, AUR, Revenues, Orders…) along product retention metrics. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. macros, pivots, power pivots, lookups, VBA) 

  • Good knowledge of Adobe Analytics 

  • Basic/good knowledge of ContentSquare
