Role Overview:As anAssociate (Data Scientist), you'll split your time approximately 50:50 between:

  • Case delivery—solving live client questions with data science and analytics embedded in consulting teams
  • IP & capability building—designing and developing reusable data science modules for the firm

You'll be a key member of both theConsulting practiceand theData & Analytics team, gaining exposure to various industries and challenges, with opportunities to develop your skills rapidly and take on leadership responsibilities over time.

Under guidance from senior team members, your responsibilities will include:

  • Framing business problems and translating them into analytical strategies
  • Delivering end-to-end analytics projects, from data scoping to insight presentation
  • Building, testing, and documenting machine learning models, including gradient boosted trees, GenAI, and time-series forecasting, packaged as Python modules or REST APIs
  • Creating interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Streamlit, or Plotly Dash
  • Turning insights into actionable recommendations and presenting them to clients
  • Contributing to internal AI/ML toolkits with reusable components
  • Supporting business development through proposals and thought leadership

Technical Skills You’ll Use:

  • Python, SQL, scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow/PyTorch, LangChain, Airflow, dbt, AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Tableau, Streamlit, GitHub Actions
  • We encourage learning new languages and frameworks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Degree (2:1 or above) or Master’s in a quantitative field (Data Science, CS, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, etc.)
  • 0–2 years of applying Python/SQL and core ML to real data
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Curiosity, humility, and ownership mindset
