The opportunity to contract with us;

We’re growing – fast – and have big ambitions across both the consultancy and technology spaces. In order to achieve these ambitions, we’re seeking anAnalytics based Solution Design Consultantto help in the support of our Analytical and AI discipline. This role will initially be on acontractor basis, but may attract the possibility of a longer-term, more permanent role as our team evolves.
Directed by our Associate Director(s) and Managing Partner, this role will allow them to shape and take forward the overall discipline whilst allowing you to support their roles with day to day hands on activities, delivering analytical solutions at the highest level whilst remaining actively involved and hands-on with cutting-edge projects.
You will ensure projects are moved forward in line with the aim of the discipline, whilst collaborating across our wider team on the solution(s) and project(s) supporting our team of talented professionals, collaborate with diverse clients, and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative AI-driven analytical solutions.

This position is a great blend of hands-on technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities  - the tasks expected would include:

Project Delivery:

o   Lead the technical delivery of analytics and AI projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and quality standards.

o   Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide actionable insights through data-driven solutions.

o   Leverage Python and SQL to build, optimise, and automate analytic models, ensuring data is processed efficiently and effectively.

Data Analysis & AI Model Development:

o   Apply advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to solve complex business problems.

o   Develop AI-driven solutions tailored to the client's needs.

o   Maintain a focus on delivering practical solutions, ensuring models and insights lead to measurable client outcomes.

Effective Communication & Storytelling:

o   Translate complex data and AI model outputs into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

o   Create compelling presentations and data visualisations, using tools like Power BI or Tableau, to tell the story behind the data.

o   Actively engage with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring they remain informed and aligned with the project goals.

Innovation & Problem Solving:

o   Stay curious and constantly explore new analytics and AI methodologies and tools, bringing innovative solutions to clients.

o   Identify opportunities to improve processes and deliver higher value through automation or advanced analytics techniques.

o   Collaborate with internal teams to pilot and scale new AI solutions that enhance client outcomes.

Client Management & Support:

o   Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on analytics and AI.

o   Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts and presenting technical solutions to potential new clients.

o   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all solutions meet the client’s business requirements and are aligned with best practices.

-          You will help to drive thedesign, implementation, and storytelling of data insights through analytics and AI models, ensuring clients derive tangible value from their data.

-          You must have akeen analytical mind, be an innovative problem-solver, and possess strong communication skills, capable ofconveying complex insights in an engaging and understandableway.

For this role, we’d expect:

·      An Innovative Problem Solver: Proactively identify and tackle complex client problems using cutting-edge analytics and AI solutions.

·      An Inquisitive & Curious mind: A passion for continuously learning and staying ahead of the curve in the fast-evolving AI and analytics field.

·      A Proven Strong Communicator: Able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience effectively, ensuring clients understand and value the insights provided.

 

Your required skills & knowledge will include but not be limited to:

·      Python and SQL proficiency for data manipulation, analytics, and model building.

·       Experience with machine learning libraries

·       Strong ability to communicate complex concepts through data storytelling, using tools like Power BI or Tableau.

·       Proven track record in delivering analytics projects involving predictive modelling, machine learning, or AI.

Our day rates fall outside of IR35 and will be in line with experience and current contracting staff.
Rates will be requested at application stage and discussed at a screening call with suitable contractors who apply.
