Job Summary

As a Account Executive, your role will be responsible for growing new logos. You will be a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working with Marketing, Pre-Sales and delivery teams to identify new opportunities in new accounts and manage the engagement to closure with the customer. This will require interactions across different organisational levels in both technical and business discussions.

This role involves working closely with technical partners, particularly Databricks and AWS, requiring the successful candidate to spend several days a week onsite with these partners to promote Colibri and drive leads to successful closure. The position demands a strategic and proactive approach to nurturing business relationships with prospective clients while building and maintaining strong relationships with sales teams to close deals effectively

Key Responsibilities

  • Primarily you will work with Databricks, AWS and our marketing team to uncover new leads and identify opportunities. Working onsite 2-3 days a week with key partner sales teams.
  • Conduct proactive outbound calls and emails to identify and qualify potential customers. Utilize various prospecting techniques, including cold calling and social selling, to generate leads and expand the customer base.
  • Attend numerous trade shows across the UK following up on all leads gained by the team.
  • Meet Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Targets for professional services and managed services by closing new business logos.
  • Work with Pre-Sales to ensure that the quality of proposals delivered to customers is professional and of high quality.
  • Ensure that Forecasting and Reporting are updated in CRM accurately and timeously reflecting the activities of building a pipeline and moving deals through to Won. Utilise CRM to track leads, opportunities and customer interactions.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Conduct thorough research on prospects and their industry, and tailor sales pitches and proposals to meet their specific needs.

What we’re looking for

  • Technology background or a passion for technology and the latest trends in Data & AI.
  • Proven experience in inside sales, telesales, or a similar sales role.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to talk confidently about Colibri Digital offerings.
  • Must have experience and track record on meeting targets.
  • Ability to determine client needs and find solutions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated self-starter.
  • Comfortable problem-solving alone as well as part of a team.
  • Confident in reaching out to stakeholders and colleagues in order to solve problems and understand issues.
  • Commercial acumen but balanced with strong customer focus and empathy.
  • An excellent attitude to learning.
