Role: Senior Data Analyst

Location: London (2 days a week in Soho office)


Reporting to: Head of Revenue Analytics

As the UK’s favourite property platform, Rightmove aims to give everyone the belief that they can make their move. To help us achieve this, we are seeking an analyst to join the Revenue Analytics Team, which looks after revenue-growth activities. 


You will use analytical skills to solve various problems facing the business and provide actionable insights. You will play a critical role in championing the use of data to deliver revenue growth from our products and services.

What you’ll be doing

Drive delivery of commercial objectives - How you get things done may vary day-to-day: you may be setting strategic direction one day, assessing data and trends another day, and improving an operational process the next Identify revenue growth opportunities: monitoring trends in customer behaviour and spending, analysing root cause, identifying risks, and delivering recommendations.  Design analytical solutions: work with Commercial Finance team and other senior stakeholders to turn ambiguous business questions into clearly scoped analytical projects.  Deliver analytical projects end-to-end: ensure work is robust and accurate and is delivered in a timely manner, with an eye on future automation. Build and maintain ML models in Python to create revenue opportunities.

Who you are

Strong analytical thinker, demonstrating success in uncovering and building business cases for new growth opportunities. Ability to apply effective financial and analytical frameworks. Strong presentation skills. Ability to turn data into stories and drive decision-making across the company. Experience in driving team culture and creating an environment for driving both operational excellence and strategic innovation. Able to operate in an unstructured, fast-paced, and team environment. Must show resilience and can filter out noise to address highest priorities. Strong intellectual curiosity, with a blend of analytical skills, pragmatism, and strategic vision. Proven relevant experience in an analytical role at this level, and able to demonstrate commercial acumen.  Excel and SQL skills required. Experience in Python & models Experience in Looker / DBT (not essential)
