Are you a skilled data specialist who thrives on turning complex data into actionable business intelligence? A large global manufacturer is seeking a dynamic Database Analyst/Programmer / Data Scientist to join their multidisciplinary team at their state-of-the-art plant in Larne, Northern Ireland. If you have hands-on experience building robust data pipelines, developing slick automation workflows, and working within structured, corporate environments, this full-time, on-site contract is your chance to make a massive impact on global operations.

12 month contract

£31.50 - £33.50p/h (PAYE)

37.5 hours per week (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)n this hands-on individual contributor role, you will support data acquisition, integration, analytics, and automation initiatives across the business. You will be responsible for developing reliable data pipelines, delivering high-impact analytics, and supporting business reporting using established enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Management: Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Snowflake; cleanse, validate, transform, and manage enterprise data while supporting scheduled data loads and data quality checks.

Analytics & Business Support: Provide curated datasets for reporting and analysis, support KPI development and analytical models, and troubleshoot data issues.

Applications, Automation & Integration: Develop dashboards and workflows using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate; support Salesforce CRM data integration; and identify fresh automation opportunities.

Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team (including data scientists, engineers, and project managers) while following strict corporate data and development standards.

What We Are Looking For

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Proven hands-on experience in data science, analytics, data engineering, or automation roles.

Prior experience working within a structured, corporate environment is highly preferred.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
