About the role

We’ve got a brand-new opportunity at Booker for an IT Manager – Supply Chain BI Systems. This role is all about supporting and delivering smart, secure, and efficient Business Intelligence (BI) systems that help our supply chain teams do their best work.

We're looking for someone experienced, hands-on, and forward-thinking – someone who’s comfortable working with both tech and people. You’ll work closely with vendors, consultants, and teams across the business to make sure our BI systems are delivering value and projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You’ll need to have a solid background in managing BI systems and bring the right mix of technical know-how, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities

Manage the IT Supply Chain BI team, including their performance and progression. Manage supply chain BI systems projects and IT development project budgets. Monitor project and system KPIs. Maintain the supply chain systems roadmap.

You will need

Experience with Data Lakes and Data Manipulation is essential Strong people management, with proven ability to effectively manage team capability and performance. Proven experience in technical project management and successful delivery of change programmes. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with supply chain systems. Building credible and long-lasting relationships with business stakeholders. Proven track record of managing working relationships with external development teams. Consistent delivery of results. Experience of working in an FMCG environment.
