Responsibilities and Impact

The Global People Partner, Finance and CCO is a crucial role leading the people strategy for the Finance and newly created Chief Client Office. This person will also define and drive a high-performance culture that prioritizes accountability, integrity, inclusion, and empathy. The role will be a trusted partner to the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Client Officer, and their broader leadership team. The Global People Partner, Finance and CCO reports to the SVP, Head of People Experience and be an integral member of the People Experience Leadership Team.

This role requires a seasoned leader with executive presence and a strategic mindset coupled with the ability to operationalize and execute on people initiatives. You will be a leader representing people priorities and progress to a variety of internal and external stakeholders. This individual will be expected to share best practices and insights, influence and enhance broader People function planning and priorities that represent the best interest of both the Enterprise and the functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong and deep relationships with the executives within Finance and Chief Client Office to co-create and deliver on the people strategy for the functions.
  • Trusted partner to the Finance and CCO leadership teams on all people matters including across areas of Organizational Design, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Talent & Development, People Relations, Total Rewards, Coaching and Mentoring.
  • Shape & influence global talent agenda using workforce analytics, including capability building, recruiting needs, workforce planning and management, organizational design, inclusion initiatives, etc.
  • Evolve the people strategy for each function and determine the capabilities, workforce mix, and create the workforce planning models needed for success in an ever-changing, market driven talent landscape.
  • Pre-emptively consult and solve complex organizational issues that support and enable the business.
  • Lead with an enterprise mindset, fostering a strong partnership with peers across the people function to deliver an end-to-end people experience.
  • Partner with the entire People Experience team to reshape the service delivery model to evolve the way we support the business and elevate our people’s experience at work.
  • Champion the S&P Global culture and its commitment to discovery, integrity, partnership.
  • Develop inclusion action plans, promote PRGs, role-model and advocate for change.
  • Ensure people initiatives, actions and decisions are compliant with employment standards and regulatory requirements.

Compensation/Benefits Information:(This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $176,300 to $280,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, with a strong background in strategic people management and organizational development.
  • 10+ years HR experience.
  • Highly developed skills in influencing and navigating a complex, heavily matrixed global organization.
  • Experience in organizational development, change management, succession & workforce planning.
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills; should be able to leverage global data dashboards with ease and foresight.
  • Ability to partner naturally with a broader People Function and to execute without the need for hierarchy and multiple direct reports.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams, foster inclusivity and overcome resistance with a high level of EQ and focus on relationship building.
  • Advanced communication skills. This includes the ability to simplify complex concepts and messages to the essential components and deliver these effectively to a wide range of audiences.
  • Resolves complex operational problems requiring strategic and innovative solutions.
  • Aptitude to communicate and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously, strong prioritization and organization skills.
  • Experience working with international teams.
  • Experience in handling demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with limited information.
  • Extremely high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.
