Job Title:Trainee Data Analyst

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Are you passionate about data and eager to launch your career in a dynamic and impactful environment? We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to join our Data Management Support team at Royal London Asset Management (RLAM), where you’ll play a vital role in supporting the integrity and flow of investment data across the business.

 

As a Trainee Data Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, from acquisition and delivery to archiving. You’ll help ensure the quality and accuracy of our investment data by maintaining, analysing, and correcting datasets, resolving data issues, and monitoring usage. You will be supporting asset setup and maintenance and collaborating closely with offshore teams.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience and grow into a data management professional, within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

 

About the role

 

  • Day to day management of Investment data – including data creation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Proactively looking to improve controls and data quality.
  • 1st line data support function for business users.
  • Monitoring inbound and outbound data flows.
  • Undertake and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

 

About you

 

  • Experienced in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Snowflake and SQL desirable.
  • Recent graduate with a strong interest in data and financial services or School leaver with excellent academic results and passion for learning and development.
  • Detail orientated, proactive and eager to build a career in Data Management.
  • Strong communicator who enjoys working with others and building relationships.
