What does this role involve? 

You will have previous experience working with extract, transform and load (ETL) tools to help with analysing and organising raw data.

You will employ tools and programming languages to bring disparate data together in well architected systems to empower more informed decision making. 

You will deal with data from various sources in both structured and unstructured formats.

You will recommend and implement strategies to sanitise, validate and improve overall data quality.

The Data Engineer will then build systems and processes to transform and store this data in a consistent way for use in data intelligence and modelling.

You will deliver the data to the data science team, to link and derive value.

The data engineering team will also need to develop dataset processes for data modelling, mining, and production. 

Who are we looking for? 

Your commercial experience working as a Data Engineer (or similar), will enable to you to hit the ground running.

Your expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques, will help you shape the future of the product.

Your knowledge of programming languages, such as C#, Python or R and cloud hosted machine learning (ML) or AI tools, will allow you to swiftly become a valuable member of the team.

Your ability to be hands-on with SQL database design and ETL techniques, will enable you to deliver value to the team.
