Role and Responsibilities: 

Technical writing: You will produce clear, well-organized, and concise documentation that effectively explains cybersecurity features and presents complex technical concepts in an engaging and accessible manner 

Rapid familiarisation and query resolution:You will quickly get up to speed on our technology and processes, actively seeking information from experts and resources. 

Frequent and proactive collaboration:You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with project goals. 

Timely delivery:You will manage multiple documentation projects, ensuring all materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards. 

Effective self-management:You will independently prioritize and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while providing regular status updates and maintaining an up-to-date roadmap. 

Requirements

Who you are: 

A motivated and talented technical writer with expertise in creating high quality software documentation. Ideally you will have knowledge of cybersecurity and data science.

Excellent written communication:You create exemplary documentation that is written with careful consideration of customer needs, and you can demonstrate this through previous work. 

Passion for learning and technology:You’re curious and fast learner that enjoys getting to grips with new technology. 

Proactive collaborator:You reach out to colleagues when you’re uncertain and aren’t afraid of asking questions. 

Driven self-starter:You can work with minimal supervision and have the initiative to resolve blocks.

Interest or experience in Cybersecurity:You recognise the importance of cybersecurity and want to increase your experience of the technology. 

Desirable skills: 

Proven experience:3+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably within the cybersecurity, technology, or SaaS industries. 

Strong written English and attention to detail:Ability to write clear, structured, and detailed English documentation tailored to a technical audience. 

Technical aptitude:Comfortable working with complex technical concepts related to cybersecurity and data analytics. Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and familiarity with frameworks like NIST, CIS, and others is a plus. 

Collaborative:Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 

Relevant tool experience:Proficiency with documentation tools like Confluence, Jira, GitHub, Markdown, or other content management systems. 

Adaptable:Ability to quickly learn new tools and adapt to evolving project requirements.
