Technical Project Manager

Location: UK resident, remote

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to become an integral part of our Professional Services team, project managing new and existing technical client projects to deliver an exceptional Ometria experience.

Ometria is a customer data and marketing platform that helps retailers increase CRM revenue by sending personalized marketing messages throughout the customer journey.

Our solution combines the data unification and customer insight of a CDP with a cross-channel marketing orchestration platform, letting retail marketers easily and efficiently create experiences their customers love across email, mobile, on-site, social, direct mail, and more.

Ometria’s proven approach to accelerating revenue – our Retail Success Model – is a first-of-its-kind data science model for driving CRM growth in retail. It combines four proprietary AI algorithms that analyze a retailer’s CRM performance and deliver a bespoke marketing plan for reaching their revenue goals.

What will you be doing?

Joining a growing Professional Services department, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical onboarding of our platform, as well as managing existing client projects. Our projects team is very hands-on and you will get involved with the technical side of integration projects, including debugging data flows and API integrations, so this is a great opportunity for you to build on your technical knowledge.

Day to day you will prepare and present detailed project and integration plans with timelines and deliverables to clients, and ensure that internal teams are aligned on the plan. You will be the main point of contact at Ometria, guiding them through their responsibilities in the process as well as coordinating internal teams; liaising with Support, Customer Success, Sales, and Engineering.

What kind of people do well in this role?

  • Experienced
    You have experience managing multiple technical projects - with knowledge of:
    • API integration with REST API and experience of Postman
    • Javascript tagging
    • Database concepts and data design
    • Debugging data flows
  • Excellent communicator
    You have exceptional writing skills and can communicate technical information in a clear, concise way to a variety of stakeholders - from CMOs to Developers. You know how to make clients happy and go out of your way to do so.
  • Incredibly organised
    You are able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time, and can both prepare and execute very detailed project plans.
  • Data-driven
    You’re comfortable working with big data sets and are able to manipulate these to pull interesting insights using tools such as Excel/Google Sheets.
